Rosslyn Capital Partners origin goes back to 1995 when ECM Bulgaria was established as a subsidiary of Europa Capital Management – a private equity and real estate firm with focus on CEE, headquartered in Prague.

In 1998 ECM was entrusted with the management of the €40 million Bulgarian Post-Privatization Fund sponsored by EBRD. The Fund invested in a number of leading Bulgarian enterprises in various sectors of the economy.

In 2002 ECM Bulgaria was restructured to reflect a change in its ownership structure and became an independent entity. Later the company was renamed to Rosslyn Capital Partners.

The list of the company’s past and current investments includes: BTC - Bulgaria’s leading telecom, KAI Group – ceramic tiles market leader, Rodina Plovdiv/Dunapack – the country’s largest corrugated cardboard producer, Pobeda – one of the top biscuits makers, Medica – a producer of medical dressings, Damianitza Winery and Bessa Valley Winery, ZMK Nikopol/MM Karton – a plant for multilayer cardboard, Orbitel – the leading alternative telecom provider, Sofica – a multilingual call center and BPO company, Ceres Agrigrowth Investment Fund, as well as a few IT companies, 2 wind farms, a hydro plant, and numerous real estate projects.
